2. High Priestess

“She Holds the Key to the Secrets”

After acquiring knowledge on skills and trades the Magician learns, one ascends to the new level of spiritual connection. That being the High Priestess. Traditional tarot displays her with the color blue which helps represent the third eye being mysterious and intuitive. She is intuitive, keeper of the Universe’s secrets and is sometimes seen as secretive because she is the keeper.

Numerology expresses the number 2 which is the number of dualities such as Yin and Yang or Masculine and Feminine. Being the ascended version of the Magician, she holds both Yin and Yang Energy in order to channel the secrets and ways of the Universe.

Often seen to have higher psychic abilities, she has a crescent moon to symbolize her with a strong and profound foundation in wisdom and intuition. Moving up from the skills and handy work of the Magician, the High Priestess channels messages from the Universe and is the first stage of a strong divine connection to Spirit.

The Lunar Crown on her head represents her mysterious and intuitive nature since above the head lies the Crown Chakra. She also wears a veil which in this case symbolizes her connection to the other side. A veil is usually seen as a barrier between our world and the other realms so by wearing the veil she has the ability to stay in contact with the other realms. This sometimes contributes to the ideas the high priestess could represent a medium, someone who could speak to those who have passed on to the other side.
