With an assertive energy. Unlike the empress he is very orientated on his goals, stagey and plans. There is a structured strength to him with a logical mind set. Just like the divine masculine the assertiveness is the catalyst type of energy that requires more physical actions to get the ball rolling. 

Four is the ruling number over the Emperor card which helps express structure, physical power, and balance. There is an inner strength that requires one to have the most fitting plans so that the goal is physically within grasp.
