Q : What Is a Spirit Guide?
A : Those that have transitioned into the afterlife are the ones we call Spirit Guides. They are here to serve as a guide, duh, from the spiritual realm. They have dedicated themselves to guiding your spirit on its highest, best path of light. Guiding us through our obstacles, Spirit Guides work as a helping hand to understand the big picture significance of obstacles. In doing this, they know where to strengthen our spirit and the ways to nourish our spiritual, emotional and physical needs. For this reason, a lot of spiritualists say that they know us better than we know us.
A Spirit Guide could be a:
Deity
Ancestor
Departed Loved One
Pet
Spirit Animal
Q : Can We Have Multiple Spirit Guides?
A : Yes! Spirit guides are given to you when you are born and stay with you until death like Guardian Angels. Most people with strong energy and have a big place in the world have a lot of Spirit Guides. IN my experience I have seen that is either for protection, emotional support, or just a force to push you towards your next goal!
Q : How to Connect With My Spirit Guide(s)?
A : Connecting with a Spirit Guide seems so much harder than it actually is! There are plenty of YouTube videos, Spotify playlists, or even classes to go to in order to contact and connect with your spirit guides. Most start off with a guided mediation unless your Spirit Guides appear to you in some other way such as dreams or visions.
Some Ways to Connect with Your Guides Are:
Guided Meditation Sessions
Walks in Nature
Using Your Creative Juices
Helping Out Your Community
Going to a place that resembles their home... i.e. a beach, forest, woodland, park, pond, lake, river, city, etc.
Meditating on Nurturing Yourself and/or Others
Q : What Signs Validate A Spirit Guide is Around?
Validation Through Their Name : Deciding to call your spirit guide a specific name, usually given to you through intuition or a spirit guide meditation, one may be able to use this as a sign. For example, being around other people and you hear the name Jane when that is your spirit guide name may be validation on something you felt unsure about in the moment. Or reading it randomly in a newspaper or on a billboard when you were deep in thought or contemplation.
Ringing in One Ear : Very commonly used to depict whether someone else is talking about you, this is also a sign that the Universe or your Spirit Guides are communicating with you. Since they are in the Spirit realm, most who are not clairaudient can not hear the Spirit realm. Therefore, ringing is a perfect sign for those simply looking for validation or help from their Spirit guides.
Pinpoint of Light : Orbs, flashes of light, or spheres can be indications of your Spirit Guides being around! Whether they are moving quickly past you or simply bobbing in your environment, these signs of light are a perfect way to know your Spirit Guide is around you! This is a way in which our third eyes see things without having out third yes completely open pr in a meditation session.
Seeing “333’s” : After naming your Spirit Guide(s), you may start seeing a lot of “333’s” which is a sign that you are on the right path. This number is actually an angel number but since Spirit Guides could be angels, deities, ancestors or departed loved ones, the number could be utilized by your Spirit Guides as well. Therefore seeing repeating numbers/triples on a clock or a receipt or a work form just have some spiritual or emotional connection with it.
Sensing a Presence : Ever feel you rent alone? That might be your Spirit Guide, especially in times of danger or cautiousness. Most of the time, one experiences their Spirit Guide when they embrace creativity or composing something. I am not trying to say become Beethoven to sense your Spirit Guide but creativity is a part of nurturing the soul so indulging in it will bring forth your Spirit Guides since that is what they love to do is nourish your soul! If you sense some type of ‘muse’ per se then just know that it is your Spirit Guide fueling your energy and soul’s ‘song’.
