Hey Watch It! You Are Stepping in My Aura! How to Cleanse YOUR Aura!

Your aura expands 6 feet from your body and is the energy field around you. There are many levels to the aura as you may have read in our previous post but here we will discuss ways to cleanse your aura. Throughout all these techniques meditation music is always best to use while following the steps.


Breathing Techniques:


  1. Start by finding an isolated area preferably with a comfortable chair but if you can not get a chair, a bed or the floor will do. (I am a floor person but that is just me)

  2. Slowly focus on your breathing and become conscious on how you are breathing.

  3. Are you breathing too slow? Too fast?

  4. Now that you are focused on your breathing, take one deep breath in. Imagine the white energy flowing into your lungs and black negative energy leaving as you exhale.

  5. Do this two more times, making sure each breathe you release what is not needed and embrace this new energy.

  6. Now imagine your aura around you. Visualize it in your mind’s eye and feel it all around you.

  7. Picture all the cluttered energy in your auric field breaking off and smoothing over as you sit and take in the divine white light of source.

  8. Rise up from the floor and shake your body, dance, make noises. Do whatever you have to do to release what is not serving you anymore. All that clutter falls off your body and your aura as you shake.

  9. Now you are done! A simple breathing technique to cleanser the unnecessary energy you pick up throughout the day.




Smudging:

  1. First pick the herb you would like to smudge with, be it sage, thyme or cedar. Some people even use Palo Santo to clear the negative energy. (which you can buy at your local spiritual shop)

  2. Pick an open space either outside away from woodland such as a beach or even an open clearing in your backyard.

  3. Light the smudge stick of your choice and set the intention of clearing away whatever energy is not needed anymore.

  4. Move around your body as you start from the ground up and let the smoke blow away anything negative in your auric field.

  5. Visualize the smoke picking up and clearing away black or gray energy in your aura or on your body and dissipating it.

  6. Finally put the smudge stick out when you have finished hitting your body and bam you are done! Cleansed and cleared!



Walking in the Rain:

  1. Really simple steps but first make sure it is raining. If you haven't cleansed your aura in a while and see a rainy day make the decision whether you want to get soaked or not.

  2. Now put on some raggy clothes and go outside and have some fun! Please be safe and do not slip and fall but going out barefoot is the best way to cleanse.

  3. Also if you could touch the bare earth that would help ground while cleansing as well,

  4. Now walk back inside, dry yourself off and there ya go! Cleansed as new!


Cleansing Baths and Showers:

  1. First set out some time where you won't be disturbed for a long time.

  2. Pick out some nice candles, salt scrubs, bath bombs, cleansing oils,or anything you want to use to help clear the auric field.

  3. Turn on your shower or start your bath and bring a nice speaker to play some calming meditation music. ( if you aren't a fan of meditation music you can play your favorite playlist or songs that make you feel refreshed).

  4. Imagine the water removing all the spiritual dirt from your body and leaving your spiritual body clean, vibrant and light! (If you have affirmations to say now would be the best time to do so)

  5. Lastly get out of the bath or shower and start to dry yourself off with your towel. A good affirmation to say while doing so is “I am cleansed and protected”. Saying this a couple of times until you feel it has worked is the best way to know if it works.if you get nervous like me i am sure 3-5 repetitions should be good!

  6. You are done!


There are many ways you can cleanse your aura because it IS 6 feet around your body so you are bound to embrace someone else’s energy. Whether it is a hug, a bump,or even simply being close enough to hold the door for someone. Just do not forget to clean your aura every once in a while and have fun while doing it!
