As Stubborn as a Bull | Taurus

Following the zodiac Aries comes the bull, Taurus. Ranging from April 20- May 20 this zodiac is the ruler of the second house, and enjoys rewards. Those blessed with Taurus as their sun sign are always seeking pleasures and love to feel present in the body.

The Taurus constellation seems to form the head of a bull, which is why it has come to be their symbol. However, they are just as stubborn as the animal; and only shift their thinking when they have a true change of heart. However, this doesn’t mean that they are unwilling to see things from others point of view. Though when a Taurus makes a decision they stick to it ready to endure everything that comes along with it. The constellation in Greek mythology is thought to be a nod to when the god Zeus transformed himself into a white ox. When it comes to love and Taurus’ you must be ready to be patient. They need time to feel safe and relax into sexual encounters. Though once they’re comfortable they can be a bit needy. In order to avoid this Taurus must keep their emotions in check. I’m doing so they are able to keep their practical reasoning while also embracing change. A Taurus chooses their partner based on their ability to respond to their intellectual needs, but also the expectations of their family and friends.

While with friends a Taurus is loyal and always willing to lend a hand. Though they’re closed to the outer world until they’re able to build trust with their new friends. Friendships with the sign usually begin during childhood that last forever. To a Taurus family is very important. They love kids and those who share their same passion for them. A Taurus has strong respect for family routines, customs and is present in all events and gatherings.

A Taurus loves money and can be a bit of a hard worker when it comes to money/career. When focused on a specific project they stick to it. Stability is always key. They search for material pleasures and rewards to build a sense of value, and a job is the key to make this possible. However, if not careful this can lead to obsession with physical pleasures, the material world, and hedonism.
