Chakras

Unfortunately when I say chakras I don’t mean like in Naruto. Being able to make hand signs and focus your chakra to fight an opponent is not what I mean. There are seven main chakras located along the spine, from head to foot. Each chakra controls various emotions as well as physical features. It is believed that the chakras are the way life’s energy is distributed.

The Seven Chakras are:

  1. Crown: located at the top of your head. Helps with divine awareness and divine intelligence. The crown chakra when open helps you connect to your life purpose; and be open minded.

  2. Third Eye: located at center of forehead. Helps with intuition and imagination. Also helps with being able to look at the ‘big picture’.

  3. Throat: located at the throat. Helps with communication with others through listening compassionately. Also helps with speaking with confidence in self.

  4. Heart: located of course where your heart is. Helps bridge the gap between the high and low chakras. It also helps with the ability to love and connect with others

  5. Solar Plexus: located below your gut. Helps with self esteem and personal power.

  6. Sacral: located above the pelvis bone. Helps with sexuality and pleasure. Also helps with creativity.

  7. Root: located at your feet. Helps with stability and your feeling of financial security. As well as with grounding yourself.

With each chakra being open comes with harmony with how you live your life. If you seem to be having difficulty this usually means one, if not all, of your chakras which is blocked. Leading to many different issues that can affect your body and life. There are ways to fix this, thankfully. Depending on which chakra that is closed can affect the treatment. Meditation is the usual practice, or even yoga!

While meditating you should visualize a flower opening at each chakra point beginning with the root moving towards the crown. Yoga is also believed to help you move your energy through your body. I can’t promise you that while meditating you’ll be able to exert enough energy to take somebody down. However, it may be helpful in other places in your life. Such as decision making and physically feeling better.
