God, not this again.

Sometimes the relationships that we find ourselves in can feel like a cycle. Just as fast as the butterflies come to life in your stomach to the throb in your head slamming right back. You could be a part of a karmic relationship, and it may be time for that cycle to finally come to an end.

Before we dive right into how to get out of a karmic cycle let’s begin with what it is. Karma is basically the idea of what goes around comes around. It's the spiritual law that many deem fated to happen. A karmic cycle is the way karma works in the lives of people through different situations and life events. These are patterns that you create for yourself. Though then it’s how the universe finds its balance (Law of attraction). It’s hoped that these cycles will help teach you lessons that will eventually set you free from obstacles. Your karma in this life is based on your past life experience, and the lessons that you failed to learn in the past.

Throughout our lives we must go through numerous karmic cycles. There are five main cycles:

  • Childhood (0-12 years) : this is when your soul is most fresh. You are unaware of your past deeds from your past lives. Your karma for this life is ready to be formed based on the situations and people you’re exposed to. Situations will be created to help them evolve on their spiritual journey.

  • Youth (13-24 years) : during these years you begin to function at a higher level, and is the most critical time. You begin to establish reasoning. This is when one fully enters into this current lifetime. You learn different lessons too. For example, talents/skills that you were good at in your past life you will be naturally good at, and begin to manifest. As well as things you learned to do well will come easy to you. At this time you will also develop habitual patterns such as how you handle money and relationships. When you turn 24 this is when you’ve reached adulthood. Signs from your past lives begin and you must start repaying debts by working through karma.

  • Adult Creation (25-36 years) : at this point your karmic patterns are done forming and

individual karma is set. The emotional distress, difficult relationships, and money habits from the past want to be healed. It may feel like things aren’t going the right way though they are. Difficult times are meant to be lessons. For example, if you believe that you continuously have the wrong love in your life it may be that unconscious beliefs are blocking your true happiness. This is preventing union with your dream partner.

  • Adult Expansion (37-48 years) : this is when your karmic patterns take force. You will have karmic tests with high complexity that you either resisted learning or didn’t fully understand begin returning. However, if you didn’t have a problem with them than deeper issues needing closure will begin. The proof of the evidence will depend on the repetition of the cycle.

  • Adult Contraction (49-60 years) : at this stage your karmic cycles will begin to decline. This is the best time for you to begin to settle. The force of karma will be At a minimum making symptoms weaker, but not fully gone. Cycles left unfinished will continue appearing until solved or death. It is easier to complete karmic cycles at this time as symptoms are not as intense. Though if not able to complete issues will intensify as urgency to solve them grow. Cycles will represent every 12 years till death.

Karmic relationships are developed with people who were connected to us in past lives. They are sent to help you advance on your spiritual journey. While some people can find themselves stuck in these situations.

Signs you’re in a karmic relationship :

  • Your relationship is on and off. Patterns tend to keep repeating. If it seems like your relationship keeps ending with the same problems LET THEM GO!!

  • Your partner doesn’t think of you. Your partner tends to be more selfish and into themself. They may not respect the healthy boundaries that you put in place.

  • It feels like you’ve known them forever. When it comes to your partner you have a strange attraction to them that you’ve never felt before.

  • Physicality. You are few more to the physical attractiveness of your partner rather than the appeal of their soulful traits.

  • It feels like your partner owns you. Your partner may be very possessive of you. They dominate you and sometimes it may feel they’re your only source of happiness. You will be drawn to them until you learn your lesson.

  • Co-dependent. You are trapped with your partner, but you don’t see the problem in it. Your happiness depends on them and you don’t want to resist it.

  • Different side of you. When you’re with them it feels like they bring out a different side of you. However, this isn’t always a good thing. They can bring out your shadow self (worst fears).

How to Uncover Karmic Pattern :

  • Identify: uncover pattern from the beginning ‘karmic theme’. Write down 5 experiences that keep occurring to you.

  • Relationship Patterns: Write down everything that your heart has been through. Whether a crush or your first love.

  • What’s stopping you? What’s causing you to resist learning? Write down these reasons. Even if you blame yourself or the other person it will help bring it to light.

  • Change perspective: stop looking at others as competitors, and out to get you. Instead look at them as teachers hoping to help you through your journey. What have they taught you through your relationship?

  • Analyze it! Imagine changes that you can make, and what that will bring.

How to break Karmic Cycle :

  • Keep doing the right thing for 4 lifetimes

  • Remain in present circumstances and learn from them!

  • Team up with people you don’t like.

  • Choose different thoughts. (Positive Affirmations)

  • Only you can break the cycle, but you have to want to.

Remember karma isn’t there to punish you contrary to how it may feel. It is there to help teach you a lesson and push you to grow. Don’t feel threatened or try to run from it. Look at it head on and prepare for the changes brewing on the horizon!
