Gaia: Greek Goddess of Earth

Born at the dawn of creation, she is a goddess of primordial power, embodying the Earth we live on. She is the first mother, or earth goddess who predated the Titans; she was one of the gods who ruled over the universe before anything in the UNiverse existed. After Chaos had embodied Darkness, the Void, and Emptiness, the Earth had taken the shape of Gaia.

Therefore, all earthly things such as rivers and mountains had come from the primordial force rooted in Gaia’s energy. Rarely is she referred to as a deity but weather in modern day practice is seen as an energy. Of course in Greek mythology a lot of things that are energies were personified into deities to better connect with that energy.

How to Connect With Gaia?

First and foremost she is the Earth so go to her terrain. Go out in nature so that you can attune yourself with her energy and get to know how she works. Nature is also a great way to ground your energetic and physical body so connect with that energy since it also comes from the Earth aka Gaia. If the weather is comfortable enough, you could also do an exercise called earthing in which you walk around barefoot in nature, of course with caution. IN doing his, you connect your physical body to Gaia’s energy.
