Hecate? Must Be Greek
Let us visit the beautiful blue waters of Greece. Gyros, salads, and all of the beautiful golden tans of the Greek people run through the streets. Stumbling on the Pantheon with the ancient beliefs of polytheism, the Greek culture breathed magic and mystery with the beauty of nature. Hectare is a goddess of the mysterious side of things so death, magic, witchcraft, the Moon, dreams, fierce hounds and creatures of the night. Moving into the direction of the night, she serves as the goddess of night.
Being the goddess of mystery and night, she has unusual rituals performed for her. She is the keeper of the crossroads like Elegua but instead embodies a more Triple Goddess vibe to her. Having the three faces of Hecate, she resembles the moon since the ancients were only able to see the waxing, full and waning phases of the Moon. The New Moon was known as the Dark Moon but either way she embodied the energy of the Moon and the night.
